It has been awhile since I have read a Kat Martin book, but coming upon her new series, about Brodie Operations Security Service, BOSS, Inc., I remember how much I admire her writing. I just finished reading "Into The Fury" and loved it!

There are many great reviews here that describe, in detail, what the story is about ~ I simply want to add how much I enjoyed the dynamics between Ethan Brodie, P.I. and Valentine Hart, a model who he is hired to protect. There is murder, mystery and mayhem galore and, of course, electrifying sex that turns into love. Ms. Martin has taken two individuals, with opposite backgrounds and shown them that their strength is not compromised by their vulnerability.

I could not put this book down and now have to patiently await Book 2, "Into The Whirlwind," the continuing saga about Val's friend Megan and Dirk Reynolds, Ethan's colleague which will release in May.

Kudos Ms. Martin for many hours of reading pleasure!

All the BOSS series are action packed. Plus an ongoing, love me love me not to add to the twist in the plot. Can you figure the villain? The characters are fully developed, background and all.
The ongoing characters in each book add to the depth of the plot. A good read!
BOSS, Inc. is hired to protect models who have been threatened. La Belle is a high-end intimate wear company something like Victoria's Secret. Every year they hire gorgeous models for live shows of their new designs. Someone finds that morally repugnant and has sent messages including words such as "die", "whore", and "slut". This is a romantic suspense with lots of twists and turns and hot Alpha men. A sweet, easy read!
Ethan is a private investigator working for his cousins company BOSS, Inc in Seattle. He was a detective with the Dallas PD before moving to Seattle. He shares a child with a * of an ex-girlfriends who tries to keep Ethan from seeing his daughter.
His new assignment is playing bodyguard for lingerie fashion models. worst.job.ever.! until he meets the beautiful Valentine. With crazed nut jobs threatening to kill these models, Brady makes it a personal mission to stay close to Val.
Into the Fury is filled with suspense, tension and characters that you want to get to know better. I enjoyed the story and finished the book in one day. While not perfect, it keeps your interest and the story line flows from the investigation. Ethan and Val are both characters with depth and it was heartening to see two people figure it out. It was good seeing a couple of characters from previous Martin books, but this tale stands on it's own and starts a new series. Can't wait to see how Dirk and Megan's tale ends up.
I stumbled upon this book because it was recommended by other authors I follow. I was certainly not disappointed. I enjoyed the changing points of view since I felt it gave good insight into the characters. It was tricky at first to get used to it, but I managed. I so enjoyed watching the characters discover you can't judge a book by it's cover. The alpha male and strong female always appeal to me, the story of what happens behind a fashion show was a premise I haven't read before. The story is pretty straight forward, but does have twists and turns that keep the reader guessing. Enjoy!
Ethan Brodie has been just given a new assignment. To guard a bunch of ladies who are models for are going on tour. The top 10 models have been getting nasty letters. Ethan also is dealing with his ex and the hard time she gives him in seeing their daughter. As Ethan start this job he notice one certain model. Her name is Valentine and as he gets to know he see there is so much more than good looks to this model. He is attracted to her and than when a model is killed he is determine not to let anyone get to her. I love the way this author mixed suspense and romance in her books and cant wait to start the next
This is the 3rd Series I have read by Kat Martin. Loved the Against Series (1st), loved the Brodies of Alaska Series (2nd), and so far I am loving the BOSS, Inc. series (3rd). I highly recommend reading the books in series order since character relationships are developed and so many of the characters have been in other books.

This series is about Ethan Brodie and Valerie Hartman (aka Valentine Hart). Ethan works for his cousin, Ian Brodie, at BOSS, Inc., a private security firm, and is asked to help with protecting the models for a lingerie company's fashion show and trying to figure out who has sent the top 10 models threatening letters. Valentine Hart is one of the top models. Ethan instantly takes a liking to Valentine but knows she isn't the type of woman he wants to be involved with. Ethan's past has left him wary of beautiful woman and Valentine is one of the most breathtaking woman he has ever seen. Valentine can't get over how gorgeous Ethan is. But her past is not a happy one and she is reluctant to get involved with anyone as "dangerous" as Ethan.

When one of the models is murdered, Ethan has to stay close to Valentine. The closer he gets to answers as to who committed the murder, the more dangerous things get for Valentine and himself and the more he realizes that there is much more to Valentine Hart than he originally thought.
