Where do I start? I was anxious to see what direction Carlene's life took after what had happened at the end of the first one. In this one we get to learn more about the life that she had with her husband Chris. We learn that he was a good man that was battling his own demon's and suffering with depression. I felt that the stuff I needed to know was delivered and in the end I was left with goosebumps.. Not once but TWICE! I don't necessarily know if I could be as forgiving as Carlene is when she is betrayed, but that is why I really like her. She is a genuinely nice woman who has been dealt a bad hand in life. There was some interesting twists and I was definitely surprised that what I thought I knew happened was close but definitely not the case. I was disappointed at how her co-worker's just kind of ditch her, with out even giving her a chance, but that is exactly how some people can be. I was satisfied with the closure of the story but do hope to maybe see these characters again. If you are looking for a good read that you won't be able to put down then The Moments in Time books are ones to make sure and add to your lists. Dori has a wonderful way of making her character's and their world come to life, and with a Book-Boyfriend like Nick.. Serendipity is a place I would like to be....

Book one held me captive. I had to know whether it was over for Nick and Carlene. They sizzled as a couple and the plot is out of this world. A truly great romance. Thank you Dori Lavelle!
Rekindled Moments picked up where Entangled Moments left of. It was great learning what happended with Chris and the continuation of what will happen with Carlene and Nick. Enjoyed it as much as Entangled Moments and to me it was a beautiful and sweet conclusion of Carlene's and Nick's story.
I will read the next one in this novella serie which will be Melissa's story.
This was a wonderful story. Nick and Carlene are great together and overcame huge obstacles to find their happily ever aftet

I don't like spoilers so I don't give anything away. I will say that I am so glad that I read the first two books.I am excited about the third one. That will be about Melisa.

This has a happy ending.
Rekindled Moments was the perfect conclusion to Entangled Moments. The story was unique in many ways and never dull. The author wrote eloquently and never fell into being tediously wordy in descriptions of scenes or emotions, in fact she communicated every profound moment and scene perfectly.
I was brought close to tears a few times, especially when I got to meet Chris. I loved that the author never made less of him to justify Carlene’s love for Nick. In fact I could totally appreciate the contrasts in the two great loves of her life and it made all the emotions that much sweeter. I’m not going to say more because I don’t want to give out plot spoilers. What I will say is this. Rekindled Moments is a must read after you have read Entangled Moments.
I was so torn at the end of Entangled Moments that I had to buy this one to see what happened with Carlene and Nick. Learning about what happened with Chris broke my heart and the guilt and hurt that Carlene felt was flowing from the pages. This is an emotional ride but worth reading. Carlene has not heard from Nick in six months. After he left her, she tried to call a few time to explain what happened and she decided to stop so he would not accuse her of being a stalker. Nick is hurting for the twin brother that he never knew until recently and now he is gone. When pictures of Carlene and Nick show up in the papers, Nick accuses her of trying to get back at him. Then a story is released about Chris' death and the only person that knew the whole truth was her best friend Malisa. What could she gain by telling the story? This goes from bad to worse when Carlene steps out of the shelter and is bombarded by reporters. She realizes that she has to tell her story or they will not leave her alone. And then Nick shows up to help her. Can Nick forgive her for what happened with Chris? Can Carlene forgive herself? This is a perfect ending to a heartbreaking story. Please pick them both up, you will not be sorry. I loved them both and I know you will too.
I was reluctant to read Entangled Moments (the first book) because was it a little bit out of my usual genres. But when I did, I enjoyed it a lot and then I read Rekindled Moments and the author simply blew me away.

This second installment had been written so beautifully and sometimes poetically. I could feel the heartbreak and emotion of the characters with each word and sentence. I could feel how painful life was for them and how much strength they had to pick themselves up after going through so much loss, and torment. The storyline was unique and held so much depth, that I couldn't put the novella down.

I'm terribly surprised with myself. I never thought I would enjoy the genre, but Dori Lavelle has gotten me hooked. Hats off to her and her wonderful writing style and for being the first author to write something in a genre I'm starting to love more and more with each read. I can't wait to read more from her.
